Yesterday I threw a quick manga related drawing class for Sangatsumanga's event. It was rather fun to speak about character design and show some of my works.

The audience was a tad quiet, but the kind fellow who hired me gave me the best feedback of my life: "I could only hear the moment when you told the kids to draw different kinds of faces and body types and *not* huge swords, spiky hairs and stuffed side-kick animals... that's why I asked you to come."

I still miss my Simon, but fortunately my flat hasn't been too silent or lonely after he was gone. Before Simon was put to sleep I had decided to take a kitty, but ended up having two so the cats' didn't have to be lonely. Two lovely little ladies, quite shy yet full of energy - you can imagine that snapping a photo is more easily said than done! :>

Our job was to design and create an etiquette for imaginary spice brand "Kali bali". I decided to go for something different and create emoquettes or rather ernuettes for mine.
